Our Story

COFFAÉ began with a frustration familiar to anyone who has ever lived in a city apartment: the coffee table that looked beautiful in the showroom but became an obstacle the moment it arrived home. Our founders — a product designer and a furniture maker — spent two years prototyping, failing, and refining before landing on the modular system that defines COFFAÉ today.

The name itself is a playful collision of "coffee" and "café" — a nod to the social moments a great table enables. We build each piece with sustainably sourced hardwood and precision-cut steel hardware, made to last decades rather than seasons. Every table that leaves our workshop carries our commitment: that beautiful design should be accessible, adaptable, and built for real life.
